What We
Offer

01

Individual & Group Sessions

One of the key components of our program is the implementation of individual and group sessions. These sessions will serve as a platform for participants to openly discuss their areas of concern, set achievable goals, and learn effective strategies to manage and overcome challenges.

03

Creative Outlets

The Road to Success program offers a range of creative activities/ group projects that will keep the girls engaged. Some of these creative activities include photography, digital media, creative writing, and art. These activities will serve as a means for participants to explore their creativity, develop their skills, and find healthy ways to express themselves. By engaging in these creative endeavors, participants will gain confidence, improve their emotional well-being, and develop valuable skills that can be applied in various aspects of their lives.

05

Violence Prevention

Our Road to Success program implements violence prevention initiatives. Through our behavior intervention sessions, continuous mentor support and awareness campaigns, we promote positivity and togetherness. We aim to equip our participants with the necessary skills to resolve conflicts peacefully. Most importantly, we develop strategies to manage emotions and help our participants respond to situations in a non-violent manner.

07

Progress Reports

At MGU, we believe that progress monitoring is essential to our Mentorship and Behavior Intervention Program. As part of our commitment to your success, we regularly collect data and feedback from teachers and support specialists. We provide bi-monthly progress reports to participants and parents which highlight areas of improvement and celebrate achievements. Our positive notes encourage growth and help participants stay motivated.

02

Mentorship

Our Mentorship program aims to inspire and empower our girls through connections with successful women of color. Once a month, a guest speaker joins us to share her triumphs, struggles, and knowledge with our girls. These conversations provide a unique opportunity for our girls to ask questions, learn from others' experiences, and envision their own paths to success. We believe that mentorship is essential in building strong and confident young women.

04

Tobacco & Drug Prevention

Our Road to Success program implements tobacco and drug prevention initiatives. Through educational sessions, workshops, and awareness campaigns, we aim to equip participants with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions about their health and well-being. By promoting a healthy and drug-free lifestyle, we hope to prevent substance abuse and its associated negative consequences.

06

Educational Field Trips

Educational field trips are included in the program to provide participants with enriching experiences beyond the traditional classroom setting. These field trips will expose participants to new environments, cultures, and learning opportunities, broadening their horizons and inspiring their curiosity.
